There a number of ways that you might be involved in serving in worship. Take a look at the opportunities below and let us know if you might be willing to serve in one of these ways:
We need USHERS at both worship services on Sundays to greet people as they come into the Sanctuary. They make sure that everyone gets a Worship Order, help the Acolytes and Crucifers, take up the offering, and help with directing people to the Altar on Communion Sundays.
ACOLYTES light the Altar candles and assist in handing offering plates to the Ushers.
CRUCIFERS carry the cross in at the beginning of Worship and take it out at the end.
The ALTAR GUILD prepares the Sanctuary for Worship by changing the Altar cloths with the Liturgical Seasons of the Christian year. They send out reminder cards to those who have signed up to place arrangements on the Altar for worship.
The COMMUNION COMMITTEE makes sure that the elements are in place and ready on Communion Sundays.
